Music and Me

Hey guys.. it's me Peter Paul

Many colleagues ask me 'how did you get introduced to music? '.So here's my story

 I always wanted to be a musician from my birth. Being born in a family where music runs in the blood , starting from my grandfather a Saxophonist to my father a keyboardist , a Saxophonist and a vocalist and my mother a vocalist..

My elder brother jack of all instruments and the Master of the Violin . While my second brother a pianist, and a guitarist , while they both are good vocalist and also beautiful composers.

And than comes me

 My mother used to tell me tht every nyt before going to bed I used to say my prayers and than say ,"good night ,Red Rock Guitar 🎸"..

Yup! That was me and my obsession with guitars

Not Even knwing how it looked maybe.

I got my frst ever guitar on my 7th bday

 A small one for a small boy at tht tym ..

Went for classes from 4th standard stopped in 6th because my sir made me scared saying ..'If u don't practice , I'll hang u on the coconut tree'!..

So I was frightened of him and I stopped going for classes.

From 7th i studied the guitar by myself

Started to play for choirs and many choirs btw, Since it was a family choir group I didn't earn anything... And I was too small may be..

I did partake in many school events and also won them .

Current situation 

 Now I play for a choir group , currently in college so in the band , and separate Gigs too 

(Yes and I do earn now)

Music in my life has helped me alot ..

 To express my self 

 To help connect others

To spread joy. Love , care and concern

To connect with God

I am a singer/guitarist by profession and I also do  compose songs ,poems, hymns.

I always say .'Music is the art of thinking with sound and noises'

Here is one of my poem written when I was felt drowning in sorrow and needed God  to intervene..

In the journey of life, faith stands tall,

A rock of strength, never to fall.

In every storm, it's a steadfast guide,

In God's embrace, we safely abide.

Through trials fierce and mountains high,

Faith's wings will lift us to the sky.

With every step, His grace we find,

In faith, His love forever bind.

So let your soul in faith take flight,

In His embrace, find pure delight.

For in His arms, we find our rest,

In faith, we're truly blessed.
